1. PREPRESS WORK

All work carried out by Documax at the explicit request of the customer, be it formal or experimental, is chargeable. In the event that the material provided by the customer is deemed non-compliant or partially inadequate in that it does not meet certain criteria for attaining the right level of quality, additional time will be charged to correct the anomaly. Documax is in no way liable for any work of a quality inferior to its standards resulting from materials or files provided by the customer, the quality of which is deemed insufficient.

2. PRESS PROOFS

All work with which we are entrusted will automatically be submitted to the customer for approval. A high resolution PDF proof will be emailed to the customer for approval. File and estimate numbers will serve as references for signature. It should be noted that certain variable factors such as ambient temperature, humidity and other environmental elements may cause slight variations in colour during printing and lamination. If certain colour elements are a priority for the customer, it will be suggested that they opt for a proof of the finished product, subject to additional fees. Documax is in no way responsible for omissions by the customer during corrections for approval such as spelling, positioning, bar codes, variable data, etc. Additional fees shall apply for any changes required by the customer that result in additional time or new proofs. Documax is in no way liable for any work of a quality inferior to its standards resulting from materials or files provided by the customer, the quality of which is deemed insufficient.

3. SHIPPING AND RESPONSIBILITY

Documax may not be held responsible for any loss or delay of merchandise incurred by shipping companies during shipping. We may also not be held responsible for any losses or damages, such as financial losses, incurred by customers or contracts as a result of a delay or loss of merchandise during shipping. Any total or partial damage to merchandise received by the customer must be reported to us in writing within 3 days of its receipt. The customer must also provide a written report of any merchandise that was not received 10 days after it was shipped.

4. TERMS OF PAYMENT

Work must be paid for in full in advance using the method of payment selected in the cart, either by credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or via PayPal. Any additional work or necessary corrections must also be paid in a timely manner. If this is the case, we will contact you by email or by phone. The order will be carried out once the payment has been received.

5. ILLEGAL REPRODUCTION OF DOCUMENTS

Documax reserves the right to refuse to print or edit any document that may be illegal or in violation of the law or property rights or that is otherwise suspicious in nature. Documax may not be held responsible for any losses or damages resulting from work in which elements were reproduced without the permission of a third party holding the property rights to said documents.

6. ORDER CANCELLATION

The customer has 24 hours (working days – Monday to Friday) to cancel an order and be fully refunded. All requests must be sent by email clearly stating: “order cancellation,” as well as the identification number of the order.

After this deadline, the customer will receive a pre-press proof approval. Customers who wish to cancel at this stage must notify us without approving pre-press proof. A $25 fee (plus applicable taxes) for opening the file will be charged and the difference will be refunded. After pre-press proof approval, it is no longer possible to cancel: the purchase is final.

7. WARRANTY

Despite all quality control efforts, if it so happens that the equipment is defective, we will gladly replace the defective order at no cost. No returns will be accepted without prior agreement. If for any reason it is impossible to replace the merchandise, we will fully refund the order in the same way the order was paid in advance. All claims must be sent by email with information related to the order, within 10 days after delivery by the carrier.

Please note that no return or refund will be allowed for errors found in visuals following proof approval by the customer.

8. PRIVACY STATEMENT

Documax collects various types of personal information that you voluntarily provide by making a purchase. You may provide personal information such as your name, address and email, and we may ask you to provide identification or demographic information (such as your address, postal code).

Documax may obtain and collect your personal information as follows:

  • Manual and electronic forms: It’s possible you will be asked to complete various forms and provide various types of personal information when making a purchase on the website
  • When you visit this website, the web server can automatically register the domain name and standard information about the operating system and web browser you use. This information may be used for statistical purposes to help us manage our site, but it won’t identify you in any way.

All personal information provided is given voluntarily. Documax does not sell or disclose personal information we collect to third parties.

We keep records of purchases made. All information remains private and confidential and is stored in a secure location and is only accessible by authorized staff.
