UTILITY GUIDE
PREPARING YOUR DOCUMENTS FOR PRINTING
Please ensure that all documents meet our specifications. Non-compliant documents requiring changes or adjustments may incur extra costs and delays.
- IMAGES
Maximum resolution: 300dpi Avoid reducing images below 25% at insertion.
- FONTS
It is best to send us the complete record of the font family used. True Type fonts should be vectorized.
- CROP MARKS AND BLEED
Crop and register marks should be in black only. Bleed should be 1/8″ around the entire document. CMYK rich black should be excluded.
- HIGH RESOLUTION PDF
Contact us and we will email you the configuration required to generate your high resolution PDF files.
- SOURCE DOCUMENT
Send us your source document* with images (vector and/or digital), as well as screen and printer fonts.
*Software used: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Office (Word / PPT) Mac or PC Platform.
METHOD OF TRANSMISSION OF DIGITAL DOCUMENTS
Printing and finishing specifications
Regardless of the chosen format and method of transmission, it is important that you provide us with clear specifications for the work to be done, including: the final format, the type of media (paper), the desired quantity, one-sided or two-sided, the type of binding as well as any other information relevant to the production of your documents.
ON CD, DVD or USB KEY
Make sure all elements, images and fonts are included.
Provide a simple printed proof that includes printing specifications.

Compress the document before inserting it into the email to prevent the document from being damaged during transfer.
Include the specifications for the work to be done in your message.
